Services
What each visit includes
A regular visit is mowing, trimming and blowing off the hard surfaces. Cleanups and shrubs are their own jobs, priced from a photo.

Mowing
Mow, trim, edge and blow off the walk and driveway. Every week or every other week, on the same day.
Mow at a height that suits the grass
Trim and edge along walks, fences and beds
Blow clippings off the walk and driveway

Edging and trimming
A clean line along the sidewalk, the fence and the beds, with a string trimmer.
Along sidewalks, curbs and driveways
Around mailbox posts and fence lines

Yard and leaf cleanups
Fall leaves, fallen branches, weeds and pine straw. We haul away what we gather.
Leaves raked or blown, bagged and hauled
Fallen branches and weeds pulled
Pine straw spread in the beds, if you ask

Shrubs and hedges
Low shrubs and hedges clipped to shape with hand shears, not torn with a mower.
Low shrubs and hedges up to about head height
No ladders and no tree work
What changes the price
Four things we look at in your photo
The table on the home page is for a regular yard. If yours isn't regular, we say so in the first message.
Yard size
The square feet of grass you want cut, not the size of the lot.
How tall the grass is
A first cut of tall grass takes longer, and may need two passes.
Slopes and gates
Steep banks, steps and locked gates slow the work.
What we haul
Bagged clippings, leaves and branches add dump time.
Through the year
What the yard needs, month by month
Charlotte lawns grow hard from April to September and drop leaves from October. These are the usual windows; your grass sets the real dates.
Step 1: February and March
Late-winter cleanup: fallen branches, old leaves and pine straw before the grass wakes up.
Step 2: April and May
First cut and weekly mowing. Grass grows fastest now.
Step 3: June to August
Heat. We raise the cutting height and stay on your day, weekly or every other week.
Step 4: September and October
Regular cuts, and the first leaves on the lawn and the walks.
Step 5: November and December
Leaf cleanups and the last cuts of the year.
Step 6: January
The grass rests. We book cleanups from a photo.
Good to know
Before the first visit
What if it rains?
The visit moves to the next dry day and María tells you by message. Mowing wet grass tears it, so we wait.
What should I do before you come?
Pick up hoses, toys and dog waste, and unlatch the gate. Anything left on the grass gets mowed around.
When can you start?
The message with your price names the first open day on the route.
Ready for a price?
A photo of the yard is enough to start.
